SELF-shearing sheep are being bred in Britain that shed their own fleeces naturally.

The new breed, called Exlana, lose their woolly coats automatically in spring.
Instead of spending precious time and money shearing their sheep, farmers simply wait for the light coats to ‘moult’ in the fields.
Breeder Peter Baber, 54, one of nine farmers developing the sheep, said: “We used to have normal, woolly sheep at the farm and had to spend hours shearing them in the spring.
“But the value of wool has reduced so much recently that it’s no longer economically viable to produce.
“Shearing has just become a necessity and, quite frankly, a nuisance.” Source

GUADALAJARA, Mexico — Five human heads have been found inside coolers along a highway in western Mexico.
Jalisco state Public Safety Secretary Luis Carlos Najera says threatening messages aimed at drug traffickers were found with the heads, which were covered with tape and discovered in individual coolers near the community of Ixtlahuacan del Rio.
The state prosecutor’s office said in a news release Tuesday that authorities are still searching for the bodies.
Investigators believe the victims were beheaded hours before police made the discovery.
Drug violence has claimed more than 7,200 lives since January 2008 as cartels battle each other and the government for territory. The bloodshed has become increasingly gruesome, with cartel hit men sometimes beheading victims or dissolving the bodies in caustic substances.

LEXINGTON PARK, Md. (WUSA) – A Southern Maryland woman was seriously injured in a mishap involving a sex toy over the weekend. The case was first reported on BayNet.com, and Saint Mary’s county public safety sources confirm the information to 9NEWS NOW.
The accident was reported to local fire and rescue personnel about 1:30 a.m. on March 7, from an address on Rogers Drive. The man who made the 911 call said he had placed a sex toy over a saber saw blade, and then used the power tool on his partner, but the blade cut through the plastic and injured the woman.
The victim, a 27-year-old woman, was reportedly injured and bleeding. She was flown to Prince George’s hospital center by Maryland State Police.
County law enforcement officials who were familiar with the media report about this case said although they were not initially called to investigate the incident, they would likely follow up to determine it was just an accident and involved consentual behavior.

But minutes after winning the wager, the randy 28-year-old dropped dead with a heart attack, revealed Moscow police.
One of the women, named only as Alina, said: “We called emergency services but it was too late, there was nothing they could do.”

One armed girl scaring children
February 23, 2009 // Posted in Amazing, News, Politics, images | Comments Off
“A disabled CBeebies presenter has been the victim of a disturbing campaign after parents complained that she was scaring toddlers.
They claimed that host Cerrie Burnell - who was born with one arm - is not suitable to appear on the digital children’s channel.
Miss Burnell and co-presenter Alex Winters took over the popular Do and Discover slot and The Bedtime Hour programme last month.
But the decision to hire her has prompted a flurry of complaints to the BBC and on parenting message boards, with some of the posts on the CBeebies website becoming so vicious that they had to be removed.
Incredibly, one father said he wanted to ban his daughter from watching the channel because he feared it would give her nightmares.
Others claimed that they were forced to discuss difficult issues with their young children before they were ready.
One blogger wrote: ‘Is it just me, or does anyone else think the new woman presenter on CBeebies may scare the kids because of her disability?” Source
